The experience of life in halls of residences
For some students, enrolling in a university course inevitably means moving to a new city, facing the choice of a home, making new friends, facing daily difficulties with a spirit of adaptation.
Living in a halls of residences represents the first opportunity to appreciate university life in a stimulating environment where you can share ideas and experiences with other young people from other countries of Italy and the world.
It is also a safe and comfortable way to live your study experience near the course locations, with the possibility, in most locations, of a reception open 24/7.
Our university residences are places where studying can be simpler. Hospitality is organized in university halls of residences and equipped apartments, near university courses.
Depending on the characteristics of the various structures, single, double and triple rooms are available. Some singles are equipped for the hospitality of disabled users.
The structures are generally open 11 months a year and some also in August.
Thanks to the internal services you can dedicate yourself to your studies without worrying about the more practical aspects related to your accommodation.
The services you can find inside: day and night surveillance, periodic supply and change of linen, common or in-room kitchens, laundry / ironing room, pay telephones, equipped gyms, common and multipurpose rooms, bicycle parking, Internet connection wi - fi.
Variations are possible in relation to the types of structure to which you are assigned.
The rules of coexistence
Residence is a community based on individual respect for the rules of coexistence.
Sharing environments and services with other students requires respect for some fundamental rules for coexistence to be more pleasant and positive.
Students who live in residence during the year can access various sports initiatives organized in collaboration with the CUS Torino and with the CUS Piemonte Orientale (decentralized university locations), at special conditions.
The activities take place in the gyms inside the structures and at the sports fields of the Olimpia Residence.
It is a listening and help service aimed at students staying in residences who need support to deal with individual and relationship problems that emerged during their stay.
For psychological difficulties, interviews conducted by psychologists are available.
Access is free and in total privacy.
For problems of other nature (economic, social or related to coexistence, administrative, etc.), support and advice are provided through the network of services in the area.
